Look, I'm not gonna feed you some polished corporate origin story. Back in 2018, I was tired of seeing gyms that either went full commercial fitness-center vibe or tried too hard to be exclusive fight clubs. There had to be something in between, y'know?
After spending 15 years bouncing between traditional boxing gyms, MMA camps, and even some CrossFit boxes, I realized what was missing - a place where everyday people could train like fighters without the ego trip. Somewhere you could throw down hard, push your limits, but still get home in time for dinner with the family.
Started with just 800 square feet on Granville Street and six heavy bags I bought off Craigslist. No joke. First week, we had maybe 12 members. Now? We've got over 400 warriors who walk through these doors every month, and honestly, that still blows my mind.
The name came from my daughter, actually. She was 7 at the time and kept calling our garage "Dad's fury realm" because I'd be in there hitting the bag at weird hours. Added the "Blaze" part 'cause that's what we do here - we burn through limits, excuses, and whatever's holding you back.

Yeah, we push each other hard, but at the end of the day, we're all here to get better together. Some of my best friendships started with someone holding pads for me at 6 AM on a Tuesday.

If you think you're in shape, take one of Amanda's bootcamp classes. She's got this crazy ability to push you right to your edge without breaking you. Probably.
Personal Training Director
Mike's the go-to for one-on-one work, especially if you're dealing with old injuries or need a customized approach. Ex-firefighter who knows a thing or two about functional strength.
